If you are going to schoolies consider the following:
  • Always prioritise a meal before you go out - drinking on an empty stomach is dangerous
  • Limit the amount of alcohol consumed
  • Take care to ensure noone has put anything in your drink that you are unaware of
  • Drink water
  • Look after your friends and ask your friends to look after you
  • Don't experiment at schoolies
  • Be aware of the local customs and laws if travelling overseas
  • If in doubt call an ambulance - don't hang around

Next we had some top tips for Christmas lights and went straight into self care tips using the Our Cycles App.

Now I did not do this tool justice and will cover it again with an interview - but this is a simple tool to discover your rhythm according to your body's natural cycles. it is an app for men as well as women. Although it is very purple there is a men's version on it way - although who says that pink and purple are just girls colours anyway... let's blast that myth with dynamite! Claim it gentlemen! The website has testimonials from men and women who have used it before and I will ask a few teens to give it a go before we review it on the show.

Lastly I played Rachael Kayne's song Gilr to Woman which has been written for a girl to woman festival on the NSW north coast

See the link here to hear another demo of the song:

Connected the Musical

This is a great show to get the conversation started about cyberbullying in schools. Sometimes what we take as normal conversation or communication is actually really offensive and abusive. What is noone ever told us?

Check out their website and book them into your school...get the conversation started...
